Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 2-3+ years of experience in growth marketing, social media management, marketing
- Proven track record of growing social media audiences, engagement acquiring leads and customers
- Experience with paid social media advertising on major platforms
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- Familiarity with AI tools and workflows
- Proficiency in social media management tools and use of AI in daily workflow.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and results-oriented Digital Platforms associate to lead our:
- Social Media Strategy - Plan and maintain content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns, seasonal trends, and business goals. Maintain tone, look, and feel of the brand consistently across platforms.
- Content Strategy - Build and manage a content strategy that supports full-funnel marketing (awareness → acquisition → activation → referral).
- Content Creation - Design or oversee graphics, write captions, edit videos, create reels, memes, stories, carousels.
- Channel Management - Handle day-to-day posting on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter/X, YouTube.
- Brand Awareness & Visibility - Build, manage, and grow a company’s presence across social platforms to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and loyalty.
- Community engagement - Drive community engagement and adoption initiatives, Monitor DMs, reply to comments, build relationships with followers and influencers.
- Campaigns & Promotions - Launch hashtag challenges, giveaways, influencer campaigns, or viral content ideas.
- Paid Advertising Marketing - Design and run growth experiments across organic and paid social channels. Analyse performance metrics (CTR, CAC, ROAS, retention) and optimize campaigns
- Analytics & Reporting - Track engagement, reach, follower growth, and sentiment; report insights weekly/monthly.
- Storytelling - Build brand identity and emotional connection, Humanise the company (show the people, purpose, and passion), Make complex products or services relatable
- Customer Relationship building - Improve customer satisfaction and retention, Turn followers into loyal fans and brand advocates
This role is a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical expertise, focusing on content creation, community engagement, paid advertising, lead generation, conversion, and feedback analysis.
- Your efforts will play a crucial role in strengthening our brand presence and building meaningful connections with our audience.
- Location: Nigeria
- Job Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Employment Type: Contract
- This role is fully Remote.
- 4 Hours overlap is required twice weekly (Tuesdays & Thursdays) with (1pm to 5pm Houston, Texas, USA time) which is (7pm to 11pm Nigeria time)
- Community sessions can include Saturday evening or Sundays
- Monthly Performance reviews are held every last Saturday's of the month
